Having worked as a class surveyor in the Black Sea area, I noticed a lack of qualified local technical consulting firms capable of providing professional and comprehensive inspection reports to the international shipping community. This observation led to the inception of Kodo Maritime Services, aimed at being a trustworthy local partner for all key stakeholders in the shipping industry, including owners and managers. Our mission is to consistently deliver high-quality inspection reports that meet the highest professional standards.

Given the current economic conditions in the shipping industry and the unique challenges of the Black Sea region, Kodo Maritime Services is dedicated to offering fully independent, objective, efficient, fair, and transparent ship condition reports to our clients.

Our surveyors bring extensive experience and expertise, acquired through roles as field supervisors/superintendents in shipbuilding and ship repairs, as well as serving as Class surveyors for reputable IACS members and marine Chief engineers with over 15 years of experience. This wealth of knowledge enables Kodo Maritime Services to assist shipping owners and managers in maintaining their vessels in compliance with international conventions and standards.
